What are Plantation (American) shutters?
Interior wood shutters are often referred to as Plantation / American or Colonial shutters because they originally came from America and the West Indies and date back to Colonial times. Interior shutters are louvred panels / doors hinged inside a wooden frame which can be fixed to cover the windows and doors in your home.
How long from order will it take to get my shutters?
Custom made shutters normally take between 8 – 12 weeks from the order date. For special shaped shutters, please allow 10 – 14 weeks.
Are the quotes free?
YES, all quotations are free! We will come to your home at no cost and measure all the required windows and provide a written quote for free. We can provide design help if needed but we find most customers already know exactly what they want.
How much do they cost?
Shutter costs depend on the overall width and height of the windows and the product material you choose. Choice of style does not! We sell products to suit everyone price range!
What warranty will I receive?
All our wooden shutters supplied have a manufacture’s 3 years guarantee.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, a 50% deposit is required when you have decided to order you shutters with us. The final balance is paid after the shutters have been installed.
